- Medical and surgical image analysis
- Medical Robotics and minimally invasive surgery
Research Experience
Beyond coursework, I pursued rigorous research training through assistantships and internships:
-
🧠 National 719 Research Institute (China)
Worked in R&D applying machine learning to automation — this experience sparked my passion for research. -
🤖 University of Birmingham
Carried out a research internship on voice-controlled industrial robotics.- This evolved into an individual research project, which received a final mark of 82%.
- Focus: LLMs and machine learning applications.
-
🧬 Imperial College London
Engaged in full-time research on generative AI for medical imaging.- check out publications
-
🛠 Sense Robotics Lab, Imperial College London
Worked as a Research Assistant, developing skills in:- Stereo vision
- SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping)
